Saturday, April 23 | North Carolina Writer’s Network Spring Conference, UNC Greensboro campus. I’ll be teaching an in-person class called “Look Closer: Writing About Objects” (all genres), 10:30 am to 12 noon. Reading work at faculty reading from 1:15 to 2:15. Pre-registration required to attend.

Sunday, May 1 | Writing the Senses at NC Museum of Art, a class for Redbud Writing Project. I’ll be teaching this in-person class from 2 to 4 pm in the museum galleries. Appropriate for all genres and experience levels. Pre-registration required.

Sunday, May 22, at 4 pm | Just Bring Yourself: A Conversation with Ann Hood and Julia Ridley Smith. Hosted by Molly Sentell Haile. This conversation is a keynote event at the Greensboro Bound Literary Festival and will take place in the Van Dyke Performance Space at the Greensboro Cultural Center. Tickets are free but you are required to reserve them.
